Nepal Trust Austria
Thank you for your interest in the charity projects of Nepal Trust Austria, which provides medical care in Humla, the western district of Nepal. Presently there is nearly no medical care for the people in this area of Nepal.Nepal Trsut Austria supported projects of other NGOs in Nepal and organised with those NGOs so called healthcamps. Within 8 days there were about 4000-8000 local patients treated mainly by doctors and nurses from Europe and Nepal. Children and adults were treated suffering from malnutrition, diarrhea, epilepsy, rheumatism and many more. Operations on patients covered hydrocelen and hernia, burns, drainage of abscess, hysterectomy, vasectomy.
Our help is urgently needed. In September 2006 the efforts of Nepal Trust Austria and our partners in those projects had been reported by the Kurier and ORF-Austrian Broadcasting Company (Willkommen Österreich & Thema). The plan for 2007 is to establish permanent medical help Help us to help. Each single € goes to the people in West Nepal which is also guaranteed by the Austrian Quality Seal for NPO`s (non profit organisations).
